The National Aerobatic Championship for 2009 was held in two stages during the year. The first round at Potchefstroom with the second in Oudtshoorn South Africa. Shot entirely on location, this DVD puts you in the cockpit during some of the most breath taking sequences that will leave your head spinning. Right through to the final sequence flow by the national champion Mark Hensman in a MX2, shot by three cameras simultaneously and synchronised on screen to give you the view of the pilot, the pilot's view forward and the spectator's view from the ground.

This production includes an explanation of aerobatics as a sport with judges and pilot interviews to give you the viewer an understanding of the rules of competiton including the different catagories of aircraft.

Originally produced for broadcast on the Multichoice channel of Supersort, this production was shot in High Definition with even the in-cockpit material in full HD. The competition was sponsered by Suzuki Auto South Africa.
